Isaiah 11:2 (VOICE) And on this child from David’s line, the Spirit of the Eternal One will alight and rest. By the Spirit of wisdom and discernment, He will shine like the dew. By the Spirit of counsel and strength, He will judge fairly and act courageously. By the Spirit of knowledge and reverence of the Eternal One…

Beloved, victory is always in your hands because I am always with you. As a carrier of My presence, I have sent you into this world to accomplish My kingdom purposes. And those whom I send, I abundantly equip that they may succeed.

Draw Upon My Spirit of Counsel

“Faithful Victory” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Isaiah 11:2 (VOICE) And on this child from David’s line, the Spirit of the Eternal One will alight and rest. By the Spirit of wisdom and discernment He will shine like the dew. By the Spirit of counsel and strength He will judge fairly and act courageously. By the Spirit of knowledge and reverence of the Eternal One….

Beloved, victory is always in your hands because I am always with you. As a carrier of My Presence, I have sent you into this world to accomplish My Kingdom purposes. And those whom I send, I abundantly equip that they may succeed.

I have imparted My Spirit of Counsel to you. Just as a king would seek wise advice before waging war, I encourage you to make every effort to seek My voice in the moments you need strategy. My Spirit of Counsel is gentle and supportive, like the presence of a trusted friend. Just as you would not have an important conversation in the midst of a crowd, so you will need to draw aside into the secret place in order to draw upon My Spirit within you.

Remember, I do not expect you to walk out your commission alone. Indeed, I am here to support you. I have already ordained the provision you need for every stage of My plans for you. Therefore, lean upon Me. Walk with Me. We will accomplish much more together than you could ever do alone.

Proverbs 20:18 (ESV) Plans are established by counsel; by wise guidance wage war.

1 Samuel 18:14 (AMPC)  David acted wisely in all his ways and succeeded, and the Lord was with him.

Prepared for Such a Time as This

Vision 11/07/2017: I saw a white and tan-speckled owl sitting on a stool in a movie studio. A makeup artist was sitting in front of the owl with a brush in her hand as though she were painting the owl. I was amazed at how this live bird was in the studio, sitting still and allowing the artist to paint it! It reminded me of clips I have watched in Jim Henson’s Creature Shop as they create different types of muppets. But it also reminded me of how a makeup artist prepares an actor for their role.

As I pondered this vision several things came to me. In recent months, the Lord has been speaking to me about the times ahead. His glory is set to return to the earth in magnificent ways. The Lord has been preparing His people to steward His glory through rigorous “dress rehearsals”. Long have we practiced what we’ve learned from Him, individually and corporately. In fact, many individuals have rehearsed God’s Word and ways in their hearts in seasons of hiddenness.

Yet the time is approaching for the revealing of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). These manifested sons and daughters will soon be called to step into the spotlight of the “world stage”. When we do, we will be called to walk in Yeshua’s role in a sense. We will each walk as Yeshua walked but in a double portion of His Spirit.

Much of the preparation for this important role is done for us. Christ is the one who dresses us and beautifies us. He has also promised to fill our mouths with His Word when we need it (Luke 12:12); Christ has given us the “script” so to speak. As we rest in Him, it is the anointing of His Spirit that truly does the work and equips us for our roles.
