Bearing the Fruit of Divine Love

“Grow In Love” by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

I once had a dream where the whole world was united in divine love. That love began in our hearts as a golden light radiating throughout our bodies. As that love moved outside our bodies, it became like a fabric that interconnected us. I felt complete oneness with all people, all of creation, and God.

As the dream progressed, my youngest sister, Emme, lost something precious to her. As I asked her what she was looking for, my father, who was standing at a distance, criticized Emme for her constant irresponsibility. Instead of responding to him, I had an inner knowing that his words were not beneficial and that it rather would be more helpful to help Emme focus on a solution.

Enjoy the Dance

“Dance with Me” by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

{dream} I was dancing in the arms of my Beloved. There was such joy and peace as we swayed back and forth to the music and focused on our love for one another. At some point, the thought came to me that, in real life, I didn’t know how to slow dance.

Suddenly, that concern about not being able to dance caused my feet to stumble as we danced. My feet felt like they were getting all tangled. And yet, the Beloved kept leading us in the dance as if nothing were wrong! I didn’t stumble or fall over, and our dance seemed as beautiful as before. So I just focused on the music and our love for one another.

Now and then, my thoughts would slip, and I would worry about my steps and stumble. But as soon as I remembered where my focus should be, my feet righted themselves. Eventually, I realized my steps didn’t matter, and that worrying about them only detracted from enjoying the dance with my Beloved.

Consecrated to God

Refreshing Worship” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Romans 12:1 (AMP) Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.

{vision} I saw a woman waving her arms up and down in worship. Her eyes were closed, and I could sense she was fully enraptured and focused on God. I got the sense that as the motion of her arms was meant to symbolize the rising of incense, I could sense her soul ascending in some way and recognizing its oneness with God.

This vision came to me as I was meditating on the subject of aliyah, the immigration of the Jewish people in the diaspora to the Land of Israel. In Hebrew, “aliyah” means “ascent.” As I shared in my post, “Our Songs of Ascent,” my studies of Scripture through a Hebraic lens have given me a deep appreciation for God’s promise to Abraham and his descendants. And while I, along with many others in Christ, eagerly await the fulfillment of God’s promises to manifest in the earth, I always find there’s much to learn about our spiritual pilgrimage through events in the natural.

In the Form of Christ

“One Body (Unity in Christ)” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

{vision} I saw different American Olympic athletes posing as if for a photo shoot meant to display their new team uniforms. What stood out to me was that, although the athletes had different types of uniforms based on their sport, all of the uniforms used the same set of colors. (Royal blue was the predominant color.) The consistency of the color is what would make it clear to others that they were all on the same team.

As I pressed in for the download for this vision, I was led to look up the definition of the word uniform. As a noun, the Concise Oxford English Dictionary defines uniform as “the distinctive clothing worn by members of the same organization or body or by children attending certain schools.” Looking at the etymology of the word, uniform is derived from the latin uniformis, uni- meaningone; having or consisting of oneand form meaning “body, shape, or configuration.” Immediately, I thought of the fact that humans are made in the image or “form” of God.

Deuteronomy 6:4 highlights an important aspect of God’s nature; it tells us that “The LORD is our God, the LORD is one.” In this verse, the word for one in Hebrew is echad. Echad has a variety of nuances, including uniqueness, singularity, and compound unity. Certainly, the Body of Christ is meant to express echad with many members acting together as one. Though each of us has a unique purpose and function in the Body, we all work towards a common goal—that upward call of God in Christ (Philippians 3:14).

Our unity is akin to the unity among Olympic athletes; though they each may compete in different sports, an individual’s actions will ultimately reflect upon their entire team as well as their nation. Olympic athletes represent a nation’s best as far as prowess in their sport. They train hard and are proud to compete on behalf of their country. I also imagine they must also be proud to wear their uniforms, the very symbol of their role as an Olympic athlete.

It is much the same for those of us who follow the call of Christ. For by the Spirit, we train hard to crucify our flesh and become mighty athletes of the Spirit. We are proud to walk the earth and represent the Kingdom of Heaven. Most of all, we display our unity by putting on Christ. When clothed with love, anyone who encounters us knows which team we are proudly playing for.

Galatians 3:27 (NLT) And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.

Galatians 5:22-23 (TPT) But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.

John 13:35 (NKJV) By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Love Will Lift Us

I wanted to share some encouragement and insight from God’s heart that I received last night. We are certainly in a season of transition where many in the Body of Christ are crossing over into their personal Promised Land. Something I have been seeing echoed by different prophetic voices is the fact that, as we cross over we need to position ourselves to receive revelation concerning that which lies ahead. A recent word by prophet Lana Vawser is a prime example of what others in the Body have been seeing and sensing.

In recent years, I have personally been experiencing much persecution in preparation to cross over into my personal Promised Land. Recently, through a close friend and sister in Christ, the Lord reminded me of Rick Joyner’s The Torch and Sword. In his book, an important key demonstrated for coming through the enemy’s ranks and to Christ’s stream of living, refreshing water is looking for the weakest point to come through. One of those points is the division of the army called “ridicule.” That has certainly been the division I’ve been walking through!

Last night, I laid down and was thoroughly exhausted from another day in this part of the journey. Still feeling the sting of the arrows of ridicule and with no place to go where I could openly seek the Lord to worship and cry, I was too grieved to fall asleep. Yet Christ blessed me greatly in this moment. He reached between the veil of heaven and earth, and I felt Him grab me and hold me! Miracle of miracles, I cried softly in this world yet, in the Spirit, perfect love held me in His arms!

I relaxed a little and rested a bit more with His comfort. After a few minutes, I heard in the Spirit, “What’s the rush? Exhilarating.” Then over and over, I kept feeling this rush of wind and energy over my entire being going from head to toe. I felt like I was on Star Trek, and I was being “beamed up” or “energized”—literally energized! With wave after wave, I felt lighter and lighter. Then in the Spirit, I saw angels dancing around me in a circle. I have been seeing this for several days now. Angels will just appear around me in a circle, hemming me in. I knew this represented God’s whirlwind as well as His hedge of protection surrounding me.
