Yield to My Love

Romans 8:1, 2 (TPT) So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One. For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death.

Beloved, be vigilant in keeping the door closed to condemnation. Resist even the seemingly small thoughts that are not aligned with My thoughts towards you, those that would cause you to wear the old garb of guilt and shame. The price has been fully paid for your redemption. By the blood of the Lamb, you are forgiven and the way has been made for you to walk in freedom and deliverance.

Godly love makes no record of wrongs. Therefore, atonement is available for your past, present, and future sins. My grace towards you abounds more and more. My grace is the blessing that overtakes you and sweeps you into My Presence.

Therefore, beloved, be swept away. Let My love carry you into My throne room. You have eternal access to Me and I desire that you would be fully present with Me. Every piece of your soul belongs with Me and is deeply treasured. Let fear of punishment and shame hold you back no longer. Let go and boldly yield to My love.

Be Consumed By Me

Hebrews 12:28-29 (NKJV) Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.

Beloved, remember there is no fear in love for perfect love casts out fear. You have had encounters with My heart, brushes with My Presence, and you have known times of sweet unity as My Spirit has poured through you like water. Yes, My love is overwhelming—both refreshing, living waters, and an all-consuming fire. And that love for you never changes in its intensity. It is only the fear of losing yourself and being changed as you are swept away by My love that causes you to hold back and causes you to hesitate in reciprocating My love in kind.

There will always be more, precious—so much more. Therefore, walking with Me will always require some measure of moving beyond your comfort zone and resisting the fear of change. The fires of My zeal for you burn hotly, so there is loss as all the dross burns away. I care for you too deeply to allow any hindrance to prevent you from being the flawless beauty that I created you to be. I am ever challenging you to change in order to gain the fullness of My anointing and the fullness of My abundant, eternal life.

Upon the cross, I poured out all and held nothing back, beloved. I looked upon you and deemed that you were worth the risk of giving all My love. Will you walk in the same sacrificial love? Will you be bold and courageous, pursuing the depths of My heart and holding nothing back from Me? Resist the urge to try to protect yourself or hide, for your heart and your life are safe when you choose Me as your hiding place. Take a leap and let go, allowing your love and your zeal to match My own. When you live from this place, you will not permit anything to exalt itself against the knowledge of Me nor stand against the manifestation of My Kingdom. Bravely walk as a living sacrifice and be consumed by Me.

Romans 12:1 (TPT) Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.

Covenant Partnership

Deuteronomy 7:9 (VOICE) I want you to know that the Eternal your God is the only true God. He’s the faithful God who keeps His covenants and shows loyal love for a thousand generations to those who in return love Him and keep His commands.

As I have walked with God, there have been numerous times when He reaffirms His personal promises to me. When He does this, it is always in a time when my hope in those promises needs some resuscitation. God is so gracious. He knows how hard it is for us to hang onto His promises through the storms of life. He sees all and knows with certainty that His plan for us is good and well worth the wait. But God also knows that we desperately need His strength to hold onto His Word. As difficult as waiting on God can be at times, I have to say that I am always challenged and changed as God reveals Himself to me throughout the waiting process.

One time, when hope was waning in my heart, God showed me how invested He was in His promises to me. In an instant, I saw that the manifestation of my dreams were more than a way for Him to lavish His love and blessings upon me. Yes, He is zealous for me, and I am humbled that He cares enough to have even made such promises. However, I was reminded that through those promises, God had become my covenant partner. Like Noah, Abraham, David, and so many others, God invested His own desires, hopes, and dreams into my promises. And because I love Him so, I gladly made room for Him.

Through the years, I have watched God nurture my dreams like tiny seeds. They have flourished in His hands into something far larger than I could have ever imagined on my own. But in order to continue holding onto His ever-expanding promises, my faith has had to grow too. I am like a woman with child, and my womb has been stretched to capacity! Being pregnant with God’s promises suddenly means that more than just my own life is involved. If I stop believing in God’s promises, I will literally prevent the manifestation of His kingdom on earth.

I often wonder if Abraham understood the gravity of God’s promises to him. Even after the birth of Isaac and facing the sacrifice of his son, could Abraham have imagined what God would do through his descendants? Because Abraham chose to believe and obey God, his faith led to the birth of the nation of Israel. The nation of Israel led to the birth of the Messiah. And the Messiah ultimately has paved the way for the birthing of the sons of God. If Abraham had let go of God’s promises, there would be no gospel. There would be no outpouring of the Holy Spirit. You and I would not get to delight in covenantal union with God.

And this is basically the point of being God’s covenant partner. His kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. God cares for us so much that He has invested all of Himself in His promises. He is all in. God’s promises are just as much a risk for us as they are for Him. If we do not uphold them through faith, then who will? This means faith in God’s promises is about more than mental ascent—it is about mutuality, trust, loving sacrifice, and it requires radical obedience.

Romans 4:3 (VOICE) because as the Scriptures say, “Abraham believed God and trusted in His promises, so God counted it to his favor as righteousness.”
