For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

I Am With You

“Bezel El (Shadow of God)” by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Be watchful, beloved. Take a look at what’s around you. Notice the things that I have placed within your gaze.  For they are as road signs and as a map to you. You may think it strange that I can speak through your environment or circumstances as much as I speak through My Word. However, I desire that you would come to a greater awareness of Who I Am and come to see My continual presence and power in your life. I would have you see what it means to abide in Me and I in you. For through My Spirit, which is in you, I am able to quicken your attention to the mundane and give you wisdom and insight moment by moment.

Is it not written that I will be with you and teach you the way you should go? I will be with you in trial and in rest, in misery and in joy, in lowliness and in greatness. I am with as you come and go. I am with you on your job and at home. I am with you enjoying your laughter and I am with you to hold you when you cry. I am with you when you are awake and I am with you when you are asleep. I am with you always for I am everywhere. There is no situation I am not in.

If you will seek Me in every moment, you will not only come to feel My presence with you, but you will become aware of My thoughts and intentions for each moment of your life. From this place of learning to abide in My Presence, you will come to see how My perfect, life-giving will in heaven can be released into the earth.

John 15:4 (NKJV) Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Psalm 32:8 (NKJV) I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Follow the Beat of My Heart

1 John 4:18 (TPT) Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection.

Beloved, be led by the sound of the beat of My heart. Resist the call of the world, which seeks to guide you through fear, guilt, and shame. You are My delight, and I created you for relationship with Me. Knowing Me is about so much more than a list of do’s and don’ts. It’s about more than work, projects, deadlines, and commissions.

Although I have placed purpose within you, your work in this world is still an avenue for your personal connection with Me. I have ordained that each day and every experience would provide you with opportunities to explore the depth of My heart. When you give in to the fear that you are performing wrong or disappointing Me, it creates unnecessary walls of separation between us. Remember: I desire to work with you, in you, and through you. Release the desire to determine what this journey must look like, for My plans for you cannot remain in the box of your understanding. Allow Me to lead and let us move together, always together, beloved.

Therefore, cease from striving and worrying. Fear not, for you do not have to go it alone. Take My hand, and let me lead you in this wondrous dance called life. Lay your head upon My chest, bask in the songs I’m singing over you, and let your feet be moved by their melody. Allow My Presence to intertwine with every area of your life. As you yield to My constant leading, joy, peace, hope will overflow.

Psalm 46:10 (NASB) “Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Christ’s Sufficiency

“Emboldened by the Sustaining Source” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Philippians 4:13 (AMP) I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

True self-confidence isn’t a matter of full reliance in our own strength and abilities. We find confidence when our identities are properly rooted in Christ. We become like trees that are planted by rivers of water. While we are called to stand, we are not expected to do so completely in own strength; we must draw from the Sustaining Source of all life. Seasons of heat force us to stretch our roots deep to find the Word and promises of God when they seem hardest to find. We are strengthened by God’s faithfulness and upheld by His flawless character.

Bold believers may not always feel brave when they look toward seemingly insurmountable odds. It may seem like the whole world is against them. It may seem like they are outgunned and outnumbered, so to speak. Weariness in their bones and hearts may tempt them to say, “I can’t do this!” But then, they remember. They look to heaven and remember Who is for them and with them.

Bold believers draw strength from what God has spoken and done for saints of the past, and they remember how God has been faithful to His personal promises to them. Instead of bowing in defeat, bold ones learn to dig deep and call upon God to be their “very present help” again and again. And God faithfully responds to their cries by empowering them through His Spirit. God is fully able to transform our “I can’t” into “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Psalm 46:1-3 (VOICE) God is our shelter and our strength. When troubles seem near, God is nearer, and He’s ready to help. So why run and hide? No fear, no pacing, no biting fingernails. When the earth spins out of control, we are sure and fearless. When mountains crumble and the waters run wild, we are sure and fearless. Even in heavy winds and huge waves, or as mountains shake, we are sure and fearless.

Reign of the Eternal

“Forever Bloom” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

1 John 4:13 (VOICE) How can we be sure that He truly lives in us and that we truly live in Him? By one fact: He has given us His Spirit.

In a vision, I saw the Father shaking a sunflower over His child. Water droplets fell from the sunflower and upon the childlike rain. I sensed that the essence of the sunflower was transferred into the water. Therefore, it was clear that the essence of the sunflower would saturate the child that the Father was sprinkling.

Symbolically, sunflowers allude to “son-flowers,” those who are growing up into fullness in the Spirit of Christ. In my vision, the sunflower in the Father’s hand was symbolic of Christ, His firstborn son. Christ is God’s chosen mediator of the new covenant. Those who are in Christ have been sprinkled with his blood, the blood of the covenant (Exodus 24:8, Hebrews 12:22-24). The blood of Christ brings absolutely atonement—or, one could say, it brings at-one-ment; it unites us forever with God. Yet the covenant also gives us access to the outpouring of Christ’s Spirit (which is often symbolized as rain or oil). The Holy Spirit is our guarantee of unity with the Creator, the very force that connects us to God.

The vision of the sunflower immediately reminded me of a pun that God often speaks over me, “I’m going to rain on your head.” It is a line from a movie, but when He says it, it is layered with spiritual life, significance, and a fiery love. It doubles in meaning as, “I’m going to reign on your head.” When God speaks this phrase over me, He is calling to mind the irrevocable words of His covenant and reminding me of my eternal bond to Him.

Rain held great importance during biblical times. As an agriculture society, they were very aware that their lives depended upon God sending the rain in its due season—the former and latter rains that would water the land. Rain was a sign of the blessings of the covenant, a provision in the marriage agreement between God and Israel. As Israel remained faithful to the covenant, God’s covenant blessings would flow to sustain them.

With the coming of Christ, the outpouring of the Spirit was connected to the “former and latter rains.” I can say without a doubt how essential the rain—or reign of the Holy Spirit has been in my life. The Holy Spirit waters my soul with words of truth from the lips of my savior. Through the Spirit, Christ reminds me that I am His and He is mine. Regardless of whether I feel connected to Him or not at any given moment, He isn’t going anywhere.  I’m never lost, even if I may momentarily feel that way in the chaos of life. God’s covenant promises to me are rock solid.

Even more, because I follow Christ and obey His voice, the blessings of the covenant are ever flowing to sustain me. When I dig deep into the Spirit, do not lack anything that I need. I am completely saturated in the love, character, and dynamis power of Christ. He is infused into my DNA! As Christ renews my mind, my ways and my thoughts are transformed until they reflect His. As Paul states in 1 Corinthians 2:16, I have the very mind of Christ.

So when God is reminding me that He is raining or reign upon me, truly it means that, as I embrace the rule of His Spirit in my life, He truly is reigning through me. Like a sunflower that soaks up the sun and the rain, God’s Word and God’s way holds everything I need to navigate this world. My greatest desire is to yield to the Spirit in my everyday life and allow Him to work His will through me—on earth as it is in heaven.

Deuteronomy 11:13-14 (NKJV) ‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.

Psalm 133:1-3 (NIV) How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.

The Joy of Eternal Life

Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Beloved, know that I have given you fullness of joy because I have granted you complete access to My Presence. Resist the urge to become discouraged when the earthly realm shifts your focus and you feel out of alignment with Me. Simply stop, take a breath, and seek Me. Look to the Cross and remember that the way has been paved back into the Garden of My Presence. Your old life is gone and I have made you new. The newness of life that you now have is eternal and lived by faith, and daily I call you to discover what that means.

There is grace upon grace upon grace as you learn how to remain in the flow of abundant life. As much as possible, resist feeling pressured or rushed by the earthly realm. While the world, at times, may seem to be overpowering, it is I, your God, that holds power over all. Victory is not waiting for you in some distant future; victory is available now through My Spirit.

Now is the time to come into My rest. Simply learn to “be” in Me. I created you for freedom, therefore, feel free to live, and move, and have your being in Me. You exist that I might delight in you and that you might delight in Me. Holy pleasure is found as you cease from striving and remain at rest and life-union with your Creator.

Therefore, I say, take of the fruit of the tree of life—My Word. My Word holds the answer to every question you have, it is the antidote to whatever ails you, it is your vision and wisdom, and it contains all of the promises I have given to you. By partaking of My Word—My very nature—your inner life is renewed daily. As your thoughts and perspective become as My own, the uncontainable joy of life will come bursting forth from within you.

John 10:10 (VOICE) The thief approaches with malicious intent, looking to steal, slaughter, and destroy; I came to give life with joy and abundance.

John 4:14 (NLT) But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”

Ride Forth

Revelation 19:14-15 (AMP) And the armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, [dazzling] white and clean, followed Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword (His word) with which He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He will tread the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty [in judgment of the rebellious world].

There is a call from heaven to don our linen robes, climb upon our horses, and ride into war with our King. But what does Kingdom warfare truly look like? In Scripture, we see a foreshadowing of Christ through the mighty warrior King David. David drew all of his strength from God alone. God preserved David in good times and in bad and ultimately empowered David to unify the Kingdom of Israel. David had perpetual victory in battle due to his strong connection with the King of Kings.

David set the model for Kingdom warfare for both the fighters that gathered to him and for believers today. He had a unique practice of inquiring of God before going into battle. When times were hardest, and even when his very allies were against him (1 Samuel 30:6), David would strengthen himself in God. It was from this place that God would direct David and proclaim the coming victory in battle. David would carefully act upon God’s directives with bold confidence; one could say he was clothed and armed in God’s mighty Word.

This is a pattern that we can follow today. When faced with trials, intercession must be our first response. In the secret place, we will find the Living Word of God and be able to cloth and equip ourselves with it. The Word is always “now,” with a life-giving perspective for every situation we face. But from the secret place, we must also be ready to act upon God’s Word when necessary. We must be prepared to get up on our horses and ride forth in our God-given commissions.

No matter what trial you are facing today, remember, that it is not by accident. The King of Kings has need of you. He is ready and willing to empower you to overcome. Therefore, run to the secret place, listen for His voice, and fearlessly act upon His instructions.

Psalm 16:7-8 (NKJV) I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

Let Love Be Your Battle Cry

Psalm 105:19 (NKJV) Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the Lord tested him.

Beloved one, remember that each time you take a step to grasp ahold of My promises for your life that you are also attempting to take territory for the Kingdom of Heaven. This means that you are stepping onto a battlefield, declaring war against the darkness which seeks to maintain its hold on your inheritance. Therefore, do not be surprised that the enemy will resist you and the manifestation of My Word in your life. He will try to convince you that My promises are not true or that they are not for you. He will accuse you in an attempt to make you forget that you are clothed in My righteousness and that My favor is upon your life.

Beloved one, during these times, if you look at your circumstances and look at yourself, you will feel tempted to believe that I am no longer for you or with you. Yet this is the very moment where your miracle is born. This is the place where you can choose to magnify My name—before your miracle manifests. This is the place where you must remember that I never send you into a battle that I cannot win through you. I have already overcome the evil one, therefore your victory is assured. Will you do your part by trusting Me and leaning only upon My Word? Will you allow the enemy’s resistance to test and purify you and bring forth My light within you? Will you let your love and adoration for Me be your battle cry?

A Sharper Image of Us

Vision 10/07/2017: I felt like I was standing in front of a wall looking right at a mirror. The Lord was standing right beside me and He adjusted the mirror as one would adjust the side mirror of a car. Instead of a reflection of myself and the Lord, I saw Mount Everest. Yet I truly felt this was an accurate reflection. “A sharper image of us,” the Lord said.

Over the summer, I’ve had multiple visions concerning walls, the writing or Word of God on the wall, and the eye of God drawn on the wall. All of them have had to do with God looking at me or speaking to me, and trying to make sense of what He is saying through His rhema words to me. It all has had to do with perception. How do we see ourselves and how do we see Him?

Running the Course of His Commandments

Psalm 119:32 (NKJV) I will run the course of Your commandments, For You shall enlarge my heart.

In a vision about a week or so ago, I felt I had come to a new place, something the Lord has called a “short stop”. There was a track and it was in a beautiful wooded area. I felt like this track belonged to a military training school. I knew I was an alumnus of this school, and an officer already. I had come back to this place to rest and prepare for my next assignment.

As time passed, the Lord revisited this vision with me. He reminded me of the above Scripture from Psalm 119. I also had a vision of Him running beside me on the track. “Keep tracking with Me….I shape you. Calm down. Leave these fears alone. Listen to Me and obey. I’m your friend. Where you go, I go. Where else could I be but with My friend? We do everything together.

During this time, I truly feel like I have been running around a track with the Lord. That track has been a place to rehearse His commandments in my mind and to gain a new level of obedience. There have been many words, dreams, and visions I have received over the last few years. I have not had the opportunity to sort through all of them; this has been important since He’s been telling me that some of the promises embedded within them are about to manifest. Also, the events and testing over the last few years have left me feeling a bit shaken. Truly, the Lord knew that I needed this season to heal, regroup, and regain confidence. I needed to weed out the fears that were left rattling around in my head and causing me to hesitate. I needed to be able to hear His voice much more clearly.
