Vision 10/16/2017: I felt like I was in space and confined within an invisible box. I moved around inside of the box bracing my feet along all the borders; I wore Wonder Woman’s boots (representing standing on God’s Word). Suddenly, I grew angel’s wings, and I took off out of the box as if it were not there at all. It was as if, by growing wings, I had found a way out of the box. “This is meant to encourage you to grow in seeing details,” the Lord said.
This vision reminded me of videos I watched a few months ago about dimensions. They say that each new dimension in our universe or multiverse is at right angles of the last one. I saw that there was a pun in my vision between the word angel and angle. As I was rotating in the box, it felt like I was rotating and looking for that “right angle” (or righteous angle) until I found a new dimension I could go through concerning God’s Word. I also sensed this represented me growing wings of faith as a messenger of His Word.
Recently, the Lord has been teaching me things about the greater works as I meditate on His Word. He has been allowing me to turn things over and over in my head so that I can ask Him questions. I have looked at the mighty acts of His people in both the Old and New Testaments. I have thought about His saints in recent centuries. I thought about how each new “act” could at times be met with resistance to old religious mindsets. The coming of Christ Himself is just one of many things broke religious boxes.
Saints of times past did not always have a reference for God’s wonders. I remember in particular hearing about how the Presence of God would cause people to fall into trances at the tent meetings of healing evangelist Maria Woodworth-Etter. Trance visions were so new and odd to the believers of her time that some of them completely rejected what God was doing through her. Yet we must remember that sometimes new isn’t bad, it’s just a new dimension of God’s Word being revealed to humanity. The only way to break through the box of old mindsets is to keep turning His Word over again and again. If we get too comfortable in our religious boxes, we can miss out on the new places God desires to take us in our spiritual growth and experiences with Him.
I have felt very blessed to have the opportunity for visions and visitations where the angelic are teaching me. Or I should say, now my eyes are aware of the teachers that God sends to us to help us with His Word. They are always there delivering God’s messages, we are just rarely aware of it. They are here to help us see new angles of God’s Word and to break out of old perceptions and into the new. (Just think of the prophet Daniel’s experiences and how the angelic interacted with him to bring understanding of his visions.)
Daniel 8:15-16 (NKJV) Then it happened, when I, Daniel, had seen the vision and was seeking the meaning, that suddenly there stood before me one having the appearance of a man. And I heard a man’s voice between [the banks of] the Ulai, who called, and said, “Gabriel, make this [man] understand the vision.”
I can attest that there are times when my angelic teachers are like drill sergeants in obedience. The Lord has told me that specifically that the seraphim have been surrounding me. Seraphim are connected to the Spirit of the Fear of the LORD; they are often present during revivals and bring a deep conviction of sin. Trust me, they can smell any thought that is not aligned with God’s Word! Yes, this can be issues of willful sin but it goes beyond this as well. There are times when I am pondering God’s Word, and I do not yet have the full and correct picture of particular concepts. If I wonder about something in God’s Word and don’t bother to ask for clarity, the seraphim are quick to step in and get me to inquire! Sometimes, I do discern something clearly in the Word, and they simply don’t want me wavering in doubt about it. They have helped to greatly sharpen my discernment!
As I wrote recently in my post Running the Course of His Commandments, I am very glad that the Lord has appointed a time for each of us where we can come to Him and find peace in every matter in the details of His Word. Many new and exciting things are ahead in His Kingdom. It is very important to be well grounded in His Word so that His power can flow and we can be a faithful steward of His Presence. Let us be open to receiving the coming new wine of His Word. We are in a place of honor to learn more about Him and who we are through Him!
“If you can see it clearly and believe it, then you can achieve it,” says the LORD.
